A loud blast has rocked central Baghdad and a large plume of gray smoke could be seen rising from the area near the Ministry of Health.
The explosion occurred at 7:55am local time and comes a day after a suicide car bomb and clashes in the capital killed at least five people, including an Iraqi policeman.
Nine more Iraqis died in other attacks across the country.
